Status: Offline
Retra CE is a solo-developed Halo-themed minecraft server
that is currently in BETA. My initial goal is to replicate the original Halo experience despite Minecraft's limitations.
Step into classic Halo locations, wield its iconic weapons, encounter familiar characters, and hear its original sound effects in minecraft.
If you want to contribute to the development process,
you are welcome to join whenever I open the server.
Be sure to join my Discord to stay updated on announcements for Retra CE, or check this page to see if the server is online. Since it is not hosted on a dedicated server, I will only keep it running for a few hours while I am actively online.
How To Join
Unlike The Legend of Retra server,
anyone can join this server as long
as you have me added as a friend.
1. Add me on XBOX
From your Xbox/App or even in Minecraft, search my username then add me as a friend. I will accept your request as soon as I get online or on the day of a testing event.

Apart from The Legend of Zelda,
HALO was another game that I grew up playing since I was 4 years old.
When I found out about this Halo Infinite Wars Addon for Bedrock, it gave me great nostalgia. Many things about the Addon were satisfying such as the weapons, sounds, UI, and abilities that come from wearing different armor. It's probably the best Halo Addon out there on the internet.
I have never seen anything get so close to the original halo games.
It encouraged me to create an in-depth halo experience by adding more aspects of Halo into minecraft.
While the Addon was very cool, I noticed a number of things
that could be improved such as:
Sound Effects
User Interface
Model Textures
Item Textures
Texture metalness/emission/roughness
Wherefore I took these tasks into my own hands by editing the original creator's work. I started by finding all the original Halo sounds from weapons, voices, and user interface at the highest quality possible, editing them in Audacity and mixing their volumes to a comfortable level.
Then I added music from many of the iconic Halo games made by Bungie.
Just about every one of those OST were composed by Martin O'Donnell,
who left countless childhood memories in my life through his music.
Next, was importing worlds from builders who have recreated places from Halo into minecraft, and then placing them all into a single world.
I then began adding emmisive textures to some of the particles that did not glow like the Plasma Grenade smoke trail for example,
as well as changing the roughness and metalness
of some textures that were too shiny.
I'm still working on refining this Addon which was made by David1490XD. His work is very impressive, not only because of how cool the Addon is but because of this:
"Hi, this is David. Well, I want to clarify that since I started creating this addon until today, everything is done on a cell phone, which is why adding structure has been difficult for me, but, in a short time I will buy a good PC, which is why, for the v11 update, the spawn of the enemies will change and the structures will be added. Maybe it will take me many months for this update, but it will be a very good one, I promise."

There's nothing else for me to say, his own statement speaks for itself.
I tried reaching out to him in hopes of helping him out with this Addon but I still have no response back. Hopefully one day he can see my comment on his download page. I tried contacting him on TikTok and Youtube but for some reason my comments were automatically flagged and removed by the platforms. It was rather strange, I wonder if him being from Colombia had anything to do with it.
